What is Mission Muskaan

 

 

MISSION MUSKAAN est une association loi 1901, crée en 2010.

 

Muskaan signifie sourire en népalais.

 

L’association a pour objet de défendre les droits des enfants au Népal et dans le monde, tels qu’ils sont définis dans la convention Internationale des droits de l’enfant du 20 novembre 1989, et notamment de :

 

- Favoriser l’accès à l’éducation et à la culture

- Promouvoir la formation des jeunes

- Favoriser l’accès à la santé: soins médicaux, hygiène, accès à la nourriture et à l’eau potable

- Promouvoir le développement durable au Népal en éduquant et responsabilisant les enfants

 

L’association est laïque, sans but politique syndical ou religieux.

 

Maelle Viollet est la présidente de l'association avec son mari Bijay Lama qui en est le vice-président. Tous les deux tiennent également l'écolodge où nous nous sommes trouvés réunis. C'est grâce à eux que nous avons pu agir aussi vite en nous rattachant à leur belle association.

"Après les actions d'urgence, il faudra remettre les projets en route, reconstruire les écoles touchées et venir en aides aux enfants démunis. Dans la période de troubles post-catastrophe, il faudra être encore plus vigilants et présents pour les enfants pauvres du Népal. Nous avons besoin de votre aide."

MISSION MUSKAAN is a non governmental organisation, founded in 2010.

 

Muskaan translates to smile in nepalese.

 

The aim of the association is to protect the rights of children in Nepal and all around the world, in line with some of the conclusions of the international convention about the rights of children, which was held on 20th of November 1989, which are:

 

-promote access to culture and education

-promote the eduction of practical skills to adolecencents

-improve the access to: health care, hygiene, food and drinking water

-promote sustainable development in Nepal by educating children to become responsible adults

 

The association is secular, with no religious or political goals.

 

Maelle Viollet is the president of the association, with Bijay Lama, her husband, as the vice president.

Both of them own the ecolodge, the place where we all met and decided to help.

Because of their beautiful associotion we were able to act very quick.

"After the emergency help, we will start different projects focussing on rebuilding schools that were destroyed and helping children in need.
